Forward Eye Technologies seeks a Data Migration Specialist with hands-on expertise in Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres development to lead data migration projects. You will leverage AWS DMS and SCT to minimize downtime while converting Oracle/MSSQL code to Postgres.

The role focuses on writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple Indian cities to deliver seamless migrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with large-scale database migration projects.
• Proficient in Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres development and migration.
• Experience with AWS DMS and SCT for data migration and schema conversion.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL coding skills and performance tuning.
• Ability to convert Oracle/MSSQL code to Postgres with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL scripts, procedures, and packages.
• Write PgPL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions for Postgres development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL scripts, procedures, functions, and packages.
• Write PgPL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions for Postgres development.
• Convert complex Oracle/MSSQL code to Postgres, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Utilize AWS services such as DMS, SCT, RDS, and Aurora to support data migration activities.
• Lead and execute database migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Analyze, design, and implement efficient database solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data migration and integration.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the migration process.

Technical Skills :

Strong coding experience :

• Oracle Development : Writing SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, packages, and functions.
• MSSQL Development : Writing T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Postgres Development : Writing SQL, PgPL/SQL, procedures, and functions.
• Proven expertise in Oracle/MSSQL to Postgres code conversion.

Experience with AWS services :

Experience :
