Job summary

Zensar Technologies is hiring an L2 Production Support Engineer in Hyderabad, India. You will be part of the AMW Technologies applications team, supporting the Advice Wealth Management business on a 24x7 basis, ensuring high availability and rapid incident recovery.

You will troubleshoot using JAVA, Oracle, Unix, Informatica, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS/Azure), lead P1/P2 incidents, and collaborate with global teams to drive stable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Experience with two or more technologies listed below.
• Core-JAVA, Linux/Unix, Oracle/SQL Server, UNIX Scripting, ITIL Understanding, Docker, Kubernetes, Workload Scheduling tools.
• Informatica Power Center, AWS Fundamentals, Service Now are relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Incident Management – manage and lead service restoration/recovery of applications.
• Drive production incident bridge calls for P1 and high priority P2 incidents.
• Assist team with troubleshooting: log file analysis and research for Distributed technologies (JAVA, Oracle, Unix, Informatica, Container frameworks) and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Perform independent troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and resolution across technologies; propose permanent fixes to improve stability.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting & Incident Management –

• Manage and Lead service restoration/recovery of applications.
• Ability to drive production incident bridge calls for P1 and high priority P2 incidents.
• The ability to assist team with troubleshooting efforts: log file analysis and research for Distributed technologies (JAVA, Oracle, Unix, Informatica, Container frameworks and orchestration frameworks) and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)

• Perform moderately difficult and independent assignments in troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and problem resolution in one or more technologies within the technical area of expertise.
• Assess & recommend solutions for permanent fixes to improve application stability and resiliency.
• Review production related changes upon risk assessments.
• Should be open to learn new technologies/tools.
• Very Good Working knowledge on the ITSM processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field; or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on experience in Cloud administration and Devops tools is a plus
• Hands on experience in supporting applications hosted on AWS and AWS Managed Services.
• Knowledge of Tivoli Work scheduler (TWS), Mainframe System, RDBMS, SumoLogic, Dynatrace concepts is a plus.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure (to include Middleware) components (e.g. Storage, Message queue (MQ), WebSphere, Managed file transfer (MFT) etc.) is a plus.
• ITIL framework certification is a plus.
• Experience with development or support of applications within the Financial Services industry (preferably in Investments/Asset Management).
