Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an L1 Production Support professional to manage banking applications, resolve production incidents, and implement monitoring controls. The role involves SQL/LINUX skills, data tech exposure, and collaboration with offshore teams to ensure service continuity.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in banking app support, familiarity with Airflow/Scheduler and monitoring tools, and a proactive approach to incidents and changes.

Qualifications

• Overall 2 to 5 years of experience in Banking application L1 production support.
• First-hand experience with SQL and Linux, Cloudera Data Platform.
• Working knowledge in Data technologies like SQL, Hadoop, and Apache Spark.
• Experience in Apache Airflow/TWS Scheduler.
• Working knowledge in Monitoring tools like ELK and Grafana.
• Superior technical, analytical, and communication capabilities.
• Current on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
• Well-versed in digital technologies, automation, environment support, and key technology/vendor solutions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Resolve production incidents in a smooth and timely manner with minimal impact to business.


• Put in controls and checks in place to monitor and smooth the functioning of production systems.


• Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised.


• Stakeholder relationships across all groups within the Bank, ensuring alignment with common objectives and fulfillment of criteria and requirements across the various businesses and units.


• Member of the development/ implementation team (including offshore) working on assigned tasks, projects, and it initiatives.


• Interacts with members and other functional teams, including members of the offshore team.


• Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities.


• Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/ procedures, including the change and incident management process.


• Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer, and activity reporting.


• You are expected to work extended hours (shifts & weekends) on an as-needed basis.


• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.


• Day-to-day delivery and support of key treasury systems/initiatives.


• Work efficiently and prioritize system enhancement/upgrades
