Job summary

Soffit Infrastructure Services (P) Ltd is seeking an L1 Engineer to support Forescout NAC operations. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain NAC infrastructure to ensure endpoint visibility, policy enforcement, and secure network access.

The role requires 3 years of IT experience with at least 1 year in Forescout NAC, along with strong networking knowledge, analytical and communication skills. Location: as per organizational requirement; join a dynamic security team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve L1 incidents related to NAC operations; escalate as per SLA.
• Assist in onboarding new network devices and endpoints into NAC.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; maintain logs and SOPs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled L1 Engineer with 3 years of overall IT experience and at least 1 year of hands‑on experience in Forescout Network Access Control (NAC) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting NAC infrastructure, ensuring endpoint visibility, compliance enforcement, and network access security.

Key Responsibilities

Forescout NAC Operations

• Monitor and maintain Forescout NAC infrastructure.
• Perform daily health checks of Enterprise Managers and Appliances.
• Monitor device classification, compliance status, and policy enforcement.
• Investigate and resolve L1 incidents related to NAC operations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams as per SLA.
• Assist in onboarding new network devices and endpoints into NAC.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Analyze NAC alerts and alarms.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for:
  • Endpoint classification issues
  • Appliance communication problems
  • Switch integration issues
  • RADIUS and 802.1X authentication issues
  • SecureConnector connectivity issues
  • WLAN connectivity issues.
  • Guest Access Management related issues.
• Validate network visibility for managed and unmanaged endpoints and no unauthorized device should connect to the infra network.

Policy Management

• Assist the tea, in implementation of NAC policies and rule updates.
• Monitor compliance policies for:
  • Antivirus/EDR solutions
  • Operating system compliance
  • Network access control enforcement
• Validate policy impact and report any anomalies.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Maintain incident logs and troubleshooting records.
• Update SOPs, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation.
• Participate in audit and compliance-related activities.

Coordination

• Work closely with Network, Security, Server, and OEM support teams.
• Coordinate during maintenance activities, upgrades, and troubleshooting sessions.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
