Job summary

Zelis is seeking a Knowledge Management Steward to own domain knowledge health within the Knowledge Management System. You will govern content lifecycle, coordinate SME input, and align knowledge with enterprise workflows. The role operates in a fast-paced Payments Learning COE with AI-enabled resources.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years in KM, governance, or related fields, plus strong organization, communication, and cross-functional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Organizational Development, Information Management, or related field strongly preferred.
• 4–5 years in knowledge management, operations enablement, product operations, governance, or related domain.
• Change Management certifications (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP) highly valued.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above highly valued.
• Experience in Learning & Development in a corporate environment highly valued.
• Intermediate Office 365 skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support domain knowledge health across the Knowledge Management System (accuracy, relevance, lifecycle integrity).
• Define what knowledge must exist vs. optional with informatics and stakeholder feedback.
• Execute established KM governance standards.
• Manage intake, triage, and routing for knowledge requests.
• Drive SME reviews through lifecycle checkpoints and nudges.
• Monitor and report on domain knowledge health.
• Escalate risks, gaps, and content conflicts to leadership.
• Coordinate SME input for content updates, validation, and final approval.
• Partner with Product, Service Operations, Learning and other stakeholders to align knowledge with workflows.
• Ensure changes are reflected timely within the Knowledge Management System.
• Recommend improvements in structure, taxonomy, or governance and report domain health insights.

Knowledge Management Steward

Knowledge Management Steward serves as the accountable owner for domain knowledge health within the Knowledge Management System. This role operates within the Payments Learning COE and is responsible for governance, prioritization, lifecycle integrity, and cross‑functional alignment of domain content. The role works with both human‑in‑the‑loop and AI‑enabled resources to develop and sustain knowledge stores for impactful access in the flow of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support domain knowledge health across the Knowledge Management System (accuracy, relevance, lifecycle integrity).
• Define what knowledge must exist vs. optional, using informatics and stakeholder feedback.
• Execute established KM governance standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Organizational Development, Information Management, or related field strongly preferred.
• Highly organized and proactive self‑starter with 4‑5 years in knowledge management, operations enablement, product operations, governance, or related domain.
• Change Management certifications (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP with experience in‑use) highly valued.
• Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above with experience in‑use) highly valued.
• Experience in Learning & Development (designing, developing, and facilitating process‑related training in a corporate environment) highly valued.
• Intermediate Office 365 application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms) required.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and translating insight into action required.
• Strong cross‑functional stakeholder management required.
