Job summary

Schneider Electric Bengaluru is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist on a contract basis to support knowledge governance, ensure AI-ready content, and standardize processes across the HR Knowledge ecosystem.

The role partners with Authors, SMEs, and Knowledge Owners to maintain accurate, accessible, and user-friendly knowledge assets while driving reporting, translations, and stakeholder engagement globally.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end knowledge lifecycle including article creation, reviews, approvals, updates, translations, and retirement.
• Drive governance activities: expired articles, content quality reviews, and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Authors, SMEs, Knowledge Managers and Owners to keep content accurate and usable.
• Provide advisory and training on knowledge management processes and tools to stakeholders.
• Support implementation and adoption of knowledge management methodologies and best practices.
• Monitor Knowledge Feedback Tasks to ensure timely resolution and stakeholder engagement.
• Conduct knowledge gap analysis using feedback, inquiries, and transcript reviews.
• Develop and maintain documentation for standardization and operational excellence.
• Create knowledge communications and awareness materials.

Role Summary - Contract Role

The Knowledge Management Specialist is responsible for supporting knowledge governance, content quality, process standardization, and stakeholder engagement across the HR Knowledge ecosystem. The role ensures that knowledge assets remain accurate, accessible, actionable, AI-ready and aligned with Knowledge Management principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end knowledge lifecycle aligned with AI-readiness, including article creation, reviews, approvals, updates, translations, and retirement.


• Drive knowledge governance activities, including expired article management, content quality reviews, and compliance monitoring.


• Partner with Authors, Subject Matter Experts, Knowledge Managers and Knowledge Owners to ensure knowledge content remains accurate, relevant and user-friendly.


• Provide advisory, training, and support to Authors, Knowledge Owners, and stakeholders on knowledge management processes and tools.


• Support the implementation and adoption of Knowledge management methodology and best practices.


• Monitor and coordinate Knowledge Feedback Tasks, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate stakeholder engagement.


• Conduct knowledge gap analysis using feedback, employee inquiries, virtual assistant transcript reviews, and operational insights.


• Develop and maintain documentation to support standardization and operational excellence.


• Create and maintain knowledge management reports, dashboards, KPI tracking files, and performance metrics.


• Coordinate translation activities.


• Manage and support HR Knowledge Community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.


• Create knowledge-related communications and awareness materials.
