Job summary

KBR is seeking a Knowledge Management Lead in its India Proposal Hub to develop and govern a centralized, searchable knowledge repository. You will lead a small KM team and collaborate with Proposals, Operations, Engineering, and Business Development to capture, verify, and maintain knowledge assets using SharePoint and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, information management, communications, or a related discipline.
• Five+ years of experience in content creation and administration in Proposals, Information Management, Technical Documentation, or a similar function.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Editing experience - good command of the English language - spelling, grammar, punctuation.
• Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, including metadata management, search optimisation, reporting, dashboards, and data analytics.
• Experience developing and managing enterprise knowledge repositories and content governance processes.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support content development and knowledge management activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's Knowledge Management strategy and governance framework.
• Establish and maintain a centralised repository for content and project assets.
• Own and administer the SharePoint-based Knowledge Management platform, including site structure, metadata, permissions, reporting, and content governance.
• Ensure all content is accurate, current, approved, searchable, and aligned with company standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to capture, verify, and maintain knowledge assets.
• Leverage AI tools to create, enhance, summarise, and maintain technical and proposal content.

Title: Knowledge Management Lead

We are seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Lead in our India Proposal Hub reporting to the Global Knowledge Management Lead based in UK. and will support in developing and maintaining a structured, searchable, and governed knowledge repository that enables teams to efficiently access proposal collateral such as standard approved content, methodologies, project experience, lessons learned, templates, and best practices. The successful candidate will manage a small Knowledge Management team and drive continuous improvement of the organisation's knowledge assets and SharePoint environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's Knowledge Management strategy and governance framework.
• Establish and maintain a centralised repository for:
  • Technical methodologies and execution plans
  • Proposal templates and go-bys
  • Project experience lists and profiles
  • Win profiles and case studies
  • CV databases
  • Lessons learned and best practices

• Own and administer the SharePoint-based Knowledge Management platform, including site structure, metadata, permissions, reporting, and content governance.

• Work proactively with Proposals, Operations, Engineering, Business Development, and functional teams to capture, verify, and maintain knowledge assets.
• Leverage AI tools to create, enhance, summarise, and maintain technical and proposal content.
• Eliminate duplicate, conflicting, and outdated information to maintain a trusted single source of truth.
• Develop reporting and analytics to monitor repository usage, content health, and knowledge gaps.
