Job summary

ABP Empower in Ludhiana is seeking an experienced Textile Merchandiser to manage end-to-end merchandising from order confirmation to dispatch. You will coordinate with customers on specifications, samples, and delivery schedules, and liaise with Production, Knitting, Dyeing, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.

You should have a Graduate/Diploma in Textile or related field and at least 8 years of knitting/textile merchandising experience, with strong communication, coordination, and MS Excel

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities required.
• Experience in knitting/textile merchandising preferred.
• MS Excel and email communication proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandising activities from order confirmation to final dispatch.
• Coordinate with customers on orders, specifications, samples, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Knitting, Dyeing, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
• Prepare and follow up on production and delivery plans.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely execution of orders.
• Follow up on yarn, raw materials, production, and fabric requirements.
• Ensure products are made according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Handle sample development, approvals, and customer feedback.
• Maintain order sheets, production status, and merchandising reports.
• Identify delays/issues and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
