Job summary

Chandramari International School Coimbatore is seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician for its Projects Team. The role covers installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment at project sites.

You will coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Supervisors, handle electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas connections, and ensure safe, compliant operation of equipment at client locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in commercial kitchen equipment.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of refrigeration/gas equipment will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work at project sites and travel as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and gas connections as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Handle equipment such as ovens, cooking equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, mixers, grinders, exhaust systems, etc.
• Read basic equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
• Conduct testing and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Supervisors.
• Attend client/site service requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain service and installation records.
• Follow site safety and company procedures.
