Job summary

KSC Venture Studio is seeking a Junior Video Editor to work across commissioned films, original IPs and client social content. Reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, you will gain hands‑on exposure to the full production and post‑production process, from shoots and footage management to editing and publishing.

You will edit reels, cutdowns and promos, create subtitles and format variations for different platforms, and support shoots with basic lighting and audio.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to edit short-form video content for social platforms.
• Strong sense of pacing and storytelling in edits.
• Experience with subtitles and captioning for multiple formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit reels, cutdowns, promos, podcast clips and other short‑form video content.
• Create subtitles, covers and format variations for different digital platforms.
• Support shoots with location checks, basic lighting and audio setup, DIT and footage backups.
• Organise, log and sync footage while maintaining clean project files and archives.
• Create title cards, thumbnails and simple statics using existing brand guidelines.
• Export and publish content according to platform specifications and content calendars.
• Work closely with the Senior Creative Producer, incorporating feedback and improving edits through revisions.
• Support projects across client work, commissioned productions and KSC’s own IPs.

KSC Venture Studio is looking for a Junior Video Editor to work across commissioned films, original IPs and client social content. Reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, the role offers hands‑on exposure to the complete production and post‑production process, from shoots and footage management to editing and publishing.

Responsibilities

• Edit reels, cutdowns, promos, podcast clips and other short‑form video content.
• Create subtitles, covers and format variations for different digital platforms.
• Support shoots with location checks, basic lighting and audio setup, DIT and footage backups.
• Organise, log and sync footage while maintaining clean project files and archives.
• Create title cards, thumbnails and simple statics using existing brand guidelines.
• Export and publish content according to platform specifications and content calendars.
• Work closely with the Senior Creative Producer, incorporating feedback and improving edits through revisions.
• Support projects across client work, commissioned productions and KSC’s own IPs.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of video editing experience; internships, freelance projects and personal work are all considered.
• Strong understanding of short‑form editing, pacing, subtitles and social‑first content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
• Understanding of export settings, platform specifications, aspect ratios and safe areas.
• Strong file‑management skills across footage, versions, backups and archives.
• Basic understanding of audio correction and colour matching.
• After Effects experience is useful but not required.
• Basic on‑set production knowledge or an interest in learning shoot workflows.
• Ability to create simple title cards, thumbnails and statics from existing brand kits.
• Interest in fashion, food, hospitality and lifestyle content.
