Job summary

Softtech Engineers in Gandhinagar, Gujarat seeks a Junior System Administrator to manage Windows and Linux servers, and to administer IIS, Apache, and NGINX web servers. You will support hosting for .NET, Java, and Python apps, and manage Azure resources and Docker environments.

Additional duties include Active Directory, GPO, user access control, system monitoring, backups, patching and incident resolution with RCA analysis.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in IT/CS or related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in system administration.
• Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
• Willingness to work on Windows and Linux servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer IIS, Apache, and NGINX web servers.
• Support hosting for .NET, Java, and Python apps.
• Manage Microsoft Azure resources and Docker environments.
• Handle Active Directory, GPO, user access, and permissions.
• Monitor systems, backups, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with DNS, DHCP, SSL management, and basic network tasks.
• Resolve incidents and perform RCA.
