Job Summary

Kryon Knowledge Works is looking for a Junior Software Engineer & QA Tester with hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing/QA and basic knowledge of Java, Springboot and PHP development. The candidate should have strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications.
• Prepare and execute test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate defect-reporting processes.
• Retest resolved defects and verify that fixes meet the required specifications.
• Understand project requirements and communicate testing-related issues effectively.
• Communicate directly with US-based clients regarding requirements, feedback, issues, and clarifications.
• Develop the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams when technical or project-related issues arise.
• Support basic development/debugging activities using Java, Springboot and PHP as required.

Required Skills

• 1 - 3+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing / QA.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, and retesting.
• Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Basic knowledge or development experience in Java, springboot and PHP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills mandatory.
• Good client-handling and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with US-based clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with development and QA teams.
• Willingness to work in US shift timings (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM IST).

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Basic understanding of software development and debugging.
• Exposure to bug-tracking or test management tools.
• Prior experience interacting with international clients will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a QA/Manual Testing professional with basic programming knowledge in Java, springboot and PHP, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to develop strong client-facing capabilities.
