Job summary

VIT in Tamil Nadu seeks a skilled instrumentation professional to operate IR, Raman spectrometers and BET analysers, perform sample preparation and data acquisition, and provide support to faculty and research students.

The ideal candidate has BE/BTech/BSc/MSc and at least two years of hands-on experience with the listed instruments, routine calibration, maintenance, and diligent record-keeping of instrument usage and results.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/B.Sc/M.Sc required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling instruments.
• Experience with IR, Raman and BET instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate IR, Raman spectroscopy, and BET surface area analyser.
• Perform sample preparation, analysis, data acquisition, and interpretation.
• Provide technical support to faculty, researchers, and students.
• Ensure routine calibration, maintenance, and optimal instrument performance.
