The Junior Scientific Officer will support sample testing, laboratory documentation, quality checks, and instrument handling in a diagnostic laboratory. This requires technical knowledge, GLP compliance, and careful sample handling. The candidate will help maintain accurate laboratory operations and timely reporting support.

• Assist in sample processing and laboratory test execution.
• Verify sample details, labels, and test requirements before processing.
• Operate laboratory instruments under defined SOPs and supervision.
• Maintain sample registers, QC records, worksheets, and documentation.
• Prepare basic reagents, controls, slides, and testing consumables.
• Follow biosafety, infection control, PPE, and GLP standards.
• Report sample mismatch, rejection, or technical errors to seniors.
• Support senior staff in routine and urgent laboratory workflow.
• Coordinate with accessioning and reporting departments when required.
• Maintain clean and organized laboratory workstations.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely test processing support.
