Qualifications

• Understanding of core ROS concepts: Nodes, Topics, Services, Actions.
• TF (Transforms) and URDF; Navigation2 (Nav2), SLAM Toolbox, AMCL, RViz.
• Exposure to Gazebo or Ignition Gazebo; sensor integration: LiDAR, IMU, Cameras, GPS, Encoders.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows; basic robot kinematics.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining robotics applications using ROS/ROS2.
• Support navigation, localization, and mapping algorithm implementation.
• Create and maintain ROS Nodes, Topics, Services, Actions, TF, URDF, and Launch Files.
• Help configure and tune Nav2, SLAM Toolbox, and AMCL under senior guidance.
• Assist in integrating sensors (LiDAR, IMU, Cameras, GPS, Encoders) and hardware interfaces.
• Help interface robotic software with motor controllers and embedded systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues in simulation and real-test environments.
• Document software modules, test results, and development steps clearly.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Embedded, AI, and Software teams; use Git daily.
