Overview
We are looking for a talented Robotics Engineer to join our growing team in India, with experience in ROS 1, ROS 2, and related robotics topics. Detailed requirements are listed below.
Responsibilities
- Working on the implementation of ROS packages/algorithms for mapping, localization, sensor fusion and navigation.
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Robotics, ROS1, ROS2, multi-threaded applications, SLAM, VSLAM. LIDAR and depth cameras may be an add-on.
- Strong knowledge of Gazebo, URDF models, manipulation, motion planning, and robot navigation.
- Experience with hardware such as motors, encoders, drivers, 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers (Atmega 8, Arduino Atmega 320P) and Raspberry Pi or other single-board computers.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, TCP/IP, MQTT, and HTTP.
- Proficiency in Python/C++ or other scripting languages; experience with image/video processing and machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers from different departments; willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good command of mathematics related to robotics.
- Familiarity with ROS2, ROS1, Motion Planning, and Navigation Stacks; basic probability, algebra, and calculus.
- Electrical hardware knowledge (motors, drivers, controllers, Arduino).
- Computer vision and machine learning knowledge (additional, not compulsory).
- Strong knowledge of sensors related to robotics.
- Programming languages: Python, C/C++.
- Must have 1 year of working experience as a Robotics Engineer.
Qualifications
- B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science/Robotics.
- 1 year of working experience as Robotics Engineer.
- Proficient in ROS 1 and ROS 2; Python and C/C++.
