Job summary

WTT International in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Project Engineer for site execution and project coordination. You will monitor progress, coordinate with site teams, and ensure timely material availability and delivery for process-based projects.

Experience with pumps, piping, valves, fittings, rotating equipment, and reading mechanical drawings is essential. Strong follow-up, planning, and communication skills are required to drive projects to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in site execution or project engineering in process-based industries.
• Experience in wastewater treatment plants (ETP/STP/WWTP) is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of pumps, piping, valves, fittings, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, understand BOMs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong follow-up, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with site engineers and execution teams to collect progress reports, identify challenges, and facilitate timely resolution.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, stores, logistics, and site teams to ensure timely material availability and project execution.
• Provide administrative and technical support to site teams and assist the Project Engineer in day-to-day project activities.
• Review mechanical BOMs after design completion and verify material requirements against drawings and specifications.
• Check material specifications, SOCs (as applicable), and scope of supply/delivery to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Track material procurement, dispatch schedules, pending requirements, and site delivery timelines.
• Prepare and maintain project status reports, material trackers, and documentation.
