Job summary

Uppteam is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Plumbing design for design and calculations of water supply, sanitary systems, and fire protection. You will create plumbing drawings, perform pressure drop and pump head calculations, and ensure clash-free layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.

The role requires experience with US projects and IPC knowledge, collaborating with supervisors and clients to deliver accurate, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for plumbing design.
• Experience working on US projects.
• Knowledge of IPC codes.
• Design and calculation of water supply, storm, and equipment sizes.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout engineering drawings within Plumbing specialty.
• Complete Plumbing calculations including water supply, storm, and equipment sizes.
• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
• Design and select fire protection systems and equipment.
• Piping pressure drop and pump head calculations.
• Schedules, quantity take-off and details.
• Clash Detection and resolution.
• Creates and maintains effective working relationships with supervisor, colleagues, clients, visitors and public - at large.
