Job summary

Techture is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to work on US-based projects. The candidate will be responsible for design, modelling, and coordination of plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with US codes and standards.

Key duties include developing Revit models, preparing shop drawings, and coordinating with various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of plumbing layouts, experience with BIM workflows, and a problem-solving approach, especially in cleanroom and healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling design and modelling of plumbing systems for US projects.
• Proficiency in pipe sizing calculations and fixture unit calculations.
• Strong understanding of IPC and UPC codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models (LOD 300–400) for plumbing systems.
• Prepare shop drawings and detailed layouts.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, and Structural teams.

Job description

We are looking for a Plumbing Engineer with experience in US projects to handle design, modelling, and coordination of plumbing systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge of codes, BIM workflows, and project coordination .

• Domestic Water (Hot & Cold)
• Sanitary & Vent
• Storm Water / Roof Drainage
• Perform pipe sizing calculations and fixture unit calculations
• Develop Revit models (LOD 300–400) for plumbing systems
• Prepare shop drawings and detailed layouts
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, and Structural teams
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with US codes and standards
• Review design drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Support quantity take-offs and BOQs
• Proficiency in:
  • Revit MEP (Plumbing Modelling)
  • AutoCAD
  • Navisworks (Clash Detection)
• Knowledge of:
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) (preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Plumbing layouts and system design
  • Coordination workflows in BIM
