Job summary

Lumera Homes seeks a Junior Interior Designer to join our design team in Vijayawada. You will draft spatial layouts, build 3D renders, and prepare technical working drawings for residential and turnkey interiors.

Under the guidance of senior designers, you will assist with client presentations, material selections, site measurements, and BOQ assistance, gaining hands-on experience across the full interior execution lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 1–2 years of experience drafting and rendering interiors. Freshers with strong portfolios welcome.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray/3ds Max, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong spatial planning and knowledge of modular furniture joinery.
• Telugu and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D interior renders and models from floor plans and client briefs.
• Prepare accurate 2D CAD drawings including layouts and details.
• Support client presentations with mood boards and samples.
• Visit sites for measurements and verification in Vijayawada region.
• Assist with BOQ, hardware specs, and finishes.
• Update CRM and project documentation.

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and detail-driven Junior Interior Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our Senior Interior Designer and Business Development Manager (BDM) to draft spatial layouts, build high-quality 3D renders, prepare technical working drawings, and assist with client presentations.

This is an excellent growth opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the complete interior execution lifecycle—from initial concept and client meetings to material selection and site handovers.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Visualization & Modeling:Develop realistic 3D interior renders (views, lighting, textures) based on floor plans and client briefs using SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, or similar tools.
• 2D Technical Working Drawings:Prepare accurate 2D CAD drawings, including furniture layouts, false ceiling details, electrical/plumbing points, elevation sections, and modular cabinet specs.
• Client Presentation Support:Assist Senior Designers during client meetings at our experience center by organizing material samples, mood boards, color palettes, and digital presentations.
• Site Verification & Measurements:Visit site locations across the Vijayawada-Tadepalli region to record precise site measurements, check room dimensions, and log pre-execution conditions.
• Material & BOQ Assistance:Help compile Bill of Quantities (BOQs), hardware specifications (Hettich, Blum, Ebco), and surface finishes (Laminates, Acrylics, PU) under the guidance of senior team members.
• CRM & Project Documentation:Update project design stages, drawing revisions, and client sign-off files in our internal CRM software.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design (B.Des / B.Sc) or Architecture (B.Arch).
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience drafting and rendering residential or commercial interiors. (Freshers with exceptional portfolios are welcome to apply.)
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray/3ds Max, Photoshop, and MS Office. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic spatial planning, modular furniture joinery, false ceiling techniques, and interior materials.
• Languages: Proficiency in Telugu and English for effective team communication and local site interactions.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, eagerness to learn, good time-management skills, and a strong sense of aesthetics.
