Responsibilities

• Develop floor plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, elevations and sections with accuracy.
• Prepare 2D drawings and working drawings using AutoCAD; develop kitchen, wardrobe, furniture and joinery drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, vendors, contractors and site teams; verify site conditions and update drawings accordingly.

About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Interior Designer tosupport our architecture and interior design projects. The candidate will beinvolved in designing, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, working drawings, materialselection and basic site coordination under the guidance of seniordesigners.

Key Responsibilities

Design Concept & Development

• Assistin developing architectural and interior design concepts based on projectrequirements.
  
• Assistwith mood boards, material boards, colour schemes and designpresentations.
  
• Assistwith material, finish and hardware selections as per the design.
  
• Develop3D models and interior views using SketchUp.
  
• Preparebasic 3D renders/presentations using available rendering software.
  
• Incorporatedesign changes and revisions based on feedback from senior designers andclients.
  

Space Planning & Drawing Preparation

• Developfloor plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts,elevations and sections.
  
• Prepareaccurate 2D drawings and working drawings using AutoCAD.
  
• Developkitchen, wardrobe, furniture and other joinery drawings.
  
• Preparebasic electrical, lighting and plumbing layouts as required for interiorprojects.
  

Documentation & Drawing Management

• Prepareand maintain updated drawing sets, revisions and project documentation.
  
• Checkdrawings against actual site conditions and report discrepancies to thesenior designer.
  
• Ensureassigned drawings and design deliverables are completed within the giventimelines.
  

Site Visits & Coordination

• Assistin site measurements, site visits and site coordination.
  
• Coordinatewith designers, vendors, contractors and site teams wherever required.
  
• Verifysite conditions and communicate any discrepancies or required changes tothe senior designer.
  
• Incorporatesite-related changes into drawings and project documentation as required.
  

Client Enquiry & Requirement Understanding

• Handleincoming customer enquiries through calls, walk-ins, online leads andother assigned channels.

• Conductinitial client discussions and explain the company's interior design andexecution solutions.
  
• RegularCRM hygiene checks should be conducted to ensure all records remainaccurate, complete, and up to date.
  

Technical Skills / Software Knowledge

Required

• AutoCAD – Good working knowledge of 2D drafting, layers, blocks, dimensions,hatches, annotations and layouts.
  
• SketchUp – Basic to good knowledge of 3D modelling and interior space development.
  
• Basicunderstanding of architectural drawings, scale, dimensions anddetailing.
  

Advantage

Knowledge of the following will be an added advantage:

• V-Ray/ Enscape / Lumion – 3D rendering and visualisation.
  
• Revit – BIM and architectural modelling.
  
• AdobePhotoshop – presentation, mood boards and image editing.

Requirements
