Job summary

The Design Plexus is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with 0–2 years of experience to join our Mumbai-based studio. You will assist in developing interior concepts, prepare layouts and elevations, and contribute to mood boards for residential and hospitality projects.

This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on design exposure, collaboration with a creative team, and opportunities to grow technical and presentation skills while working to tight project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in interior design and space planning.
• Good design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Assist in developing interior design concepts.
• Prepare furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and basic working drawings.
• Assist with design presentations and mood boards.
• Understanding of interior detailing and drawing coordination.
• Understanding of scale, proportion, composition, and spatial relationships.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Strong interest in interior design and space planning
• Good design sensibility and attention to detail
• Ability to assist in developing interior design concepts
• Ability to prepare furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and basic working drawings
• Ability to assist with design presentations and mood boards
• Basic understanding of interior detailing and drawing coordination
• Understanding of scale, proportion, composition, and spatial relationships
• Ability to coordinate with the design team and manage assigned tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop design and technical skills
• Ability to work within project timelines

Software Skills:

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or a related field
