Job summary

Uberlife Consulting is seeking a talented Interior Designer to work with clients at the Experience Studio, develop concepts and present furniture and finishes selections. You will coordinate from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client budgets and timelines.

The role covers client consultations, space planning, 2D/3D visuals, vendor coordination and delivery end-to-end. Freshers with strong portfolios and confident communication are welcome.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in interior design for residential, commercial, hospitality or furniture projects preferred.
  • Experience in client interaction or showroom/experience-studio management is a plus.
  • Freshers with a strong portfolio and confident communication welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D visualization software preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented, confident and client-focused Interior Designer. This is not solely a desk-based design role: the designer will consult clients, develop concepts,

recommend furniture and finishes, support sales, and coordinate execution from concept to completion.

CLIENT HANDLING & SALES SUPPORT
  • Meet clients at the Experience Studio and understand their requirements, preferences and budgets.
  • Present design concepts, materials, layouts and product selections with confidence.
  • Provide professional design consultations and recommendations.
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain a refined customer experience.
  • Conduct structured follow-ups with prospective and existing clients and support conversion of design enquiries

into projects.

INTERIOR DESIGN
  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, furniture layouts and space-planning solutions.
  • Prepare 2D drawings, layouts and high-quality 3D visualisations.
  • Select furniture, finishes, fabrics, colours, lighting and accessories.
  • Prepare client presentations, specifications and quotations.
  • Balance aesthetics, functionality, budget and client requirements.
EXPERIENCE STUDIO COORDINATION
  • Help manage the daily functioning and presentation of the Experience Studio.
  • Maintain furniture displays, material samples, catalogues and product presentations.
  • Coordinate client appointments and design consultations.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers and internal teams.
PROJECT COORDINATION
  • Coordinate with production, site, procurement and installation teams.
  • Monitor project timelines and follow up on deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits whenever required.
  • Maintain project drawings, specifications, quotations and client records.
  • Ensure the approved design intent and quality standards are maintained through completion.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client-handling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of space planning and interior design principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office and relevant 3D/rendering software.
  • Good knowledge of furniture, materials, fabrics and finishes.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in residential, commercial, hospitality or furniture/interior design preferred.
  • Experience in client interaction or showroom/experience-studio management is an advantage.
  • Freshers with a strong portfolio, good software skills and confident communication are welcome to apply.
