We’re growing and looking for a Junior Interior Designer who’s creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced design environment.

Role Overview

As a Junior Interior Designer at Hipcouch, you’ll assist senior designers in developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring project deliverables meet the highest standards. You’ll be exposed to both the creative and executional sides of interior design, gaining experience across the full lifecycle of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing concepts, layouts, and mood boards for residential and commercial interiors.
• Create and update AutoCAD drawings, 3D renders, and material boards as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with senior designers to source furniture, finishes, lighting, and decor elements.
• Assist in client presentations, preparing design documentation, and incorporating feedback.
• Work with vendors, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and track project progress.
• Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and sustainable practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.
• 1–3 years of experience in residential or commercial interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office.
• Strong sense of aesthetics, detailing, and materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
