Job summary

Flex in Chennai is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions to support cost accounting activities and learn within a global manufacturing environment.

You will post month-end journal entries, track cost metrics with the operations team, prepare SOPs, support process improvements through Kaizens, and serve as a backup for the cost accountant while building MS Office and accounting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Freshers / 0-2 years of experience in finance.
• B.Com / BBA (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
• Basic MS Office knowledge; strong English communication; analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cost accounting activities that are defined.
• Understand the corporate policy and follow-up of key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time saving/cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens & process improvements.
• Work along with operations team & track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups.
• Posting month end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare & maintain SOP in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
• To learn & serve as a backup for cost accountant.
