Job Summary

Functions in an entry level capacity. Under close supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Utilizes digital tools, design software (CAD, BIM, 3D tools, etc.), and standardized procedures to assist in the creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity by reading, understanding, and maintaining a working knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures.
• Ensure that deliverables are accurate and compliant by developing an understanding and complying with the BV Quality Program.
• Demonstrate personal accuracy and support continuous improvement and change management efforts.
• Learn the applications required to modify less complex deliverables based on a variety of design inputs.
• Learn to identify the needs of internal clients and begin to gain a basic understanding of external clients' main interests and drivers.
• Proactively seek and share knowledge of latest technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
