Job summary

Deutsche Bahn Ag seeks a railway design engineer to contribute to design of track and alignment for various projects in India. You will prepare drawings from alignment models, generate take-off quantities, and ensure compliance with project standards and design guidelines while collaborating with senior engineers and the project team.

Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track/OpenRail Designer, and alignment regression techniques is valued, as is site exposure.

Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech required; postgraduate value add
• Experience on Indian and/or international projects
• Experience with design environments: AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track/OpenRail Designer or similar
• Experience creating alignment models by regression is a plus
• Site experience is an added advantage
• Knowledge of basic alignment design is expected
• Knowledge of Provi is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Partake in design of track and/or alignment of different Railway Projects
• Preparation of Drawings from Alignment Model as per project standard.
• Preparing take off quantities.
• Working cooperatively with team members in order to meet client requirements.
• Being familiar with the Design guidelines and National/International codes.
• Work in consultation with Engineers/Senior Engineers to achieve the desired output.
• Making sure the deadlines are respected and if not to discuss in advance with the Senior/Lead Engineer.
• Extracting design reports from software and preparation of reports in accordance with Engi-neer/Senior Engineer.
• Any other task assigned by the team lead or his/her assignee.

Qualifications

• BE /B-Tech (Post Graduation will be value ad)
• Should have worked in Indian and/or international projects.
• Should have experience of working in any of the environment: Auto Desk Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track / Open rail Designer suite or similar software.
• Having experience in creating alignment model by regression will be value ad.
• Site Experience will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of basic alignment design is expected.
• Knowledge in Provi is added advantage.
