Job summary

Sansera Engineering in Bengaluru seeks a QA Inspector to review drawings, customer specifications and quality requirements before inspection. You will verify dimensions with precision tools and a CMM, raise NCRs for non-conforming parts, and support root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.

You will also ensure traceability of materials and certification documents, and assist audits while maintaining compliance with quality procedures and customer demands.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder with 1–4 years' experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of NCR, CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards.
• Proficient in traceability concepts and quality documentation.

• verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, thread gauges, feeler gauge, and CMM.
• Raise and document non-conformance reports (NCR) for rejected parts/material.
• Support root cause analysis using 5 Why / Fishbone and implement corrective actions.
• Verify traceability of material, certifications, and process documentation.
• Support internal, customer, and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.

AUTHORITY

• Authority to accept or reject products based on drawing/specification requirements.
• Authority to stop movement of non-conforming products to next process.
• Authority to raise NCR and initiate containment action.
• Authority to elevate quality concerns to Quality Manager / Production team.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification:

• Diploma or any relevant field

Experience:

• 1-4 years (Preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing)

Technical Knowledge:

• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges
• Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis
• Basic knowledge of quality standards such as International Aerospace Quality Group AS9100 or International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001
