Job summary

Sansera Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a results-driven Production Operations Lead to manage and optimize aerospace manufacturing processes. You will ensure adherence to customer requirements, document production processes, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key duties include planning weekly and monthly production, managing tooling designs, monitoring OEE, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve quality.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma/B.Tech or equivalent in a relevant field.

• AS9100 QMS and documentation awareness.

Managing and execute production operations efficiently by adhering to customer requirements, ensuring process compliance, improving productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the aerospace manufacturing environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage overall production operations to meet organizational targets.
• Execute monthly and weekly production plans as per customer schedules.
• Maintain and document all customer-related production processes.
• Review and support design of jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Plan facility requirements, oversee installation and commissioning activities.
• Establish and maintain Configuration Management systems.
• Lead first-sample development and obtain FAI approval
• Handle drawing change control and ensure updates are implemented on the shop floor.
• Participate in technical reviews with customers.
• Maintain production registers and track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Control rejections and initiate corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
• Prepare forecasts, monitor material availability, and ensure readiness for production.
• Review and report on production and sales performance to the management.
• Initiate productivity improvement plans and actions.
• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and equipment outages.

AUTHORITY

• Approve production-related process documentation and records.
• Recommend tooling, fixture, and equipment modifications.
• Initiate corrective actions on quality and process non-conformances.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding material planning, process changes, and customer requirements

Qualification:

Experience:

• 2–5 years (Preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing)
