Purpose/Objective

• Engineer - WTG is responsible for the operational management and maintenance of wind turbine generators (WTG) across multiple sites.
• The role focuses on ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and performance of renewable energy assets while adhering to safety standards and achieving financial and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Business Performance: Achieve annual operational performance targets for wind turbine generators.
• Ensure WTGs operate with high reliability and efficiency while meeting financial and operational goals.
• Technical Support and Maintenance: Perform predictive, large corrective & upgrade maintenance, attend breakdown, advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of WTGs to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed inspections and preventive maintenance on WTG components, adhering to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Analyze WTG performance metrics, diagnose complex faults, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Implementation of SAP in totallity, e. g.
• Mapping the schedule PM/ Preservation PM, etc and closure of notifications, creation and closure of of BM notification within set lime line.
• Analyze daily interruption records to act proactiovely and eliminate errors with help of robust RCA and CAPA process, hence improve reliability of Assets.
• Operational Support: Ensure operational readiness of WTGs by overseeing startup, shutdown, and performance testing activities.
• Collaborate with operations teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities, coordinate spare parts procurement, and minimize downtime.
• Technical Assistance and Training: Provide technical assistance and mentorship to technicians and new team members in WTG maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Participate in and contribute to training programs to enhance skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems related to WTGs.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for WTG maintenance and operations.
• Coordination and Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, maintenance logs, and equipment inventory records.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations during all WTG operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and audits to promote a safe working environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and corrective actions to mitigate risks associated with WTG operations.
• Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and procurement to achieve project objectives and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: B. E. /B. Tech/Diploma - Electrical or Mechanical or relevant to Energy Sector MBA - Advantageous Work Experience: 1-5 years of experience ( If Diploma holder: additional 2-3 Y Exp. req.)
