Job summary

Property solutions India Pvt ltd is seeking an skilled CNC VTL operator to manage machine operations across a three-shift rotation. You will load/unload parts, perform quick changeovers, and uphold strict quality and safety standards.

You should be proficient in reading drawings, familiar with CMM inspection reports, and capable of basic measuring with micrometers to ensure precise machining. Experience in heavy engineering environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC turning operations and tolerances.
• Experience with SINUMERIK or FANUC controls is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC VTL machine on a three-shift rotation.
• Load and unload components per standard work instructions.
• Execute timely model changeovers to maintain production flow.
• Perform self-inspections to ensure quality and 100% productivity.
• Complete daily maintenance checks to ensure machine reliability.
• Maintain 5S standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Set up components and datum points for precise machining.
• Measure with micrometers and verify with CMM reports.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Operate the CNC VTL machine on a three-shift rotation.

Perform component loading and unloading in accordance with standardized work instructions.

Execute efficient model changeovers within timeframes to maintain production flow.

Adhere to self-inspection protocols to ensure quality compliance.

Maintain 100% productivity.

Complete the daily maintenance checklist to ensure machine reliability.

Uphold 5S workplace standards for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.

Strictly follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.

Basic knowledge of CNC turning programming, specifically using SINUMERIK or FANUC control systems.

Familiarity with cutting tools and their related cutting parameters for various materials and operations.

Skilled in tool presetting and tool loading procedures to ensure accurate machining.

Capable of component setup and datum point establishment for precise machining alignment.

Proficient in using internal and external micrometers for high-accuracy measurements.

Ability to read component drawings and CMM inspection reports.

Experienced in identifying and resolving basic machining deviations during production and inspection.

Experience in heavy engineering environments, with working knowledge of crane handling procedures and safety protocols.
