Qualifications

DEEE with min 3-4 years industrial experience or B Tech (EEE) with min 2-3 years in operation/maintenance of electrical installations in a process plant (60% min).

Responsibilities

Take field rounds to assess healthiness of electrical equipment and log parameters.
Implement LOTO procedures and ensure safety compliance.
Troubleshoot electrical problems during plant operations and perform rectifications.
Coordinate with Process team for effective plant operations and process requirements.
Work under supervision of Electrical Shift In-Charge and participate in plant shutdown maintenance.
Attend preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and report deficiencies.
Participate in critical maintenance activities with team coordination.
Report irregularities to shift in charge and management.

Purpose of the job

The Major objective of the position is to fulfill the requirements of Shift Electrical Operations& Maintenance and other General maintenance works.
The fundamental reason is to refill the vacant position

Duties & Responsibilities (Description of the tasks)

To Take the Field rounds for accessing the healthiness of all Electrical equipment & Logging the operational parameters.
To Implement the LOTO procedures.
To attend all the Electrical problems for trouble shooting, that arises during plant operations including break downs and carry out the necessary rectifications as required.
To Maintain close co‑ordination with Process team for effective plant operations & Process requirements.
To work under the supervision/control of Electrical Shift In charge.
To be willing to work with own hands as required.
To attend preventive maintenance of Electrical equipment.
To take part in the critical maintenance activities of Electrical equipment with good co‑ordination among other staff, as required.
To report the irregularities /deficiencies of Electrical systems that he may come across, to the shift in charge and the next management level.
To involve in the Plant shutdown maintenance works.
He shall be disciplined in Industry with strict adherence to Industrial safety and communication with team in this regard.

Job requirements (Educational qualification, work experience, required technical &functional skills)

DEEE with min 3-4 years Industrial Experience/ B Tech (EEE) with min 2-3 years Industrial Experience on Operation/Maintenance of Electrical installations of a process plant. His academic qualification percentage shall be min 60%.
