Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Sr Executive Electrical for our Dahej plant. The role requires a BE in Electrical and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a paint chemicals environment.

You will lead plant electrical maintenance, safety compliance, and CAPA-driven improvements. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems, coordinating with contractors, and implementing procedures to enhance uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in plant/equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely maintenance of electrical equipment in the plant.
• Ensure compliance to Safety Permit requirements for all Engg. activities.
• Analyze all breakdowns and take corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance to planned actions.
• Define critical spares and consumables and develop inventories in Engg Stores.
• Monitor uptime of equipment and improve operating efficiencies.
• Control cost of electrical spares and consumables.
• Monitor power utilization and optimize consumption.
• Provide training to electricians on good engineering practices and safety.
• Perform CAPA and 5-Why analyses; develop and implement procedures.
• Prepare maintenance procedures for critical equipment.
• Develop AMC and monitor efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare inspection procedures for electrical installations.

Nature and Scope

• The incumbent is responsible for carrying out Maintenance for all Electrical installations in the Plant.
• He shall coordinate with contractors to get the allotted jobs completed safely.
• He is responsible to ensure all Safety procedures while carrying out Engineering activities.
• He shall ensure all actions towards meeting statutory compliances from Engineering perspective are met incl. those requirements under Electricity Rules.
• Support training and development of his subordinates
• Develop guidelines for Good Engineering practices
• Shall monitor and take control actions to improve Power consumption for the facility.
• Develop and implement Inspection procedures for all Electrical installations incl. Transformer, DG, PCC, MSS, Earth Pits, Continuity strips etc.
• Need to interact with government agencies viz. CEIG, Electricity Board officials, DG inspector etc. to support statutory approvals and service support to the Plant
