Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional with experience in foundry environments to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on DISA molding lines, sand plants, and electric furnaces.

You will diagnose faults, service hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with DISA equipment, induction furnaces, and TPM/5S practices, with 0–2+ years in a foundry setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE or ITI with relevant foundry maintenance experience.
• Hands-on maintenance of DISA lines, sand plants, and electric furnaces.
• Exposure to TPM & 5S practices in a foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on foundry machinery.
• Maintain DISA High Pressure Molding Line and sand plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Inspect motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors for reliability.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Fresher or Experienced electrical and mechanical maintenance professional with expertise in preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance of foundry equipment. Skilled in maintaining high-pressure molding lines, DISA molding machines, sand plants, electric furnaces, and auxiliary equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of foundry machinery.
• Maintain and troubleshoot High Pressure Molding Line (DISA) equipment.
• Maintain Sand Plant systems, including mixers, conveyors, elevators, and dust collection systems.
• Perform maintenance of Electric Induction Furnaces, including cooling systems, transformers, panels, and furnace auxiliaries.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Inspect and maintain motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, blowers, and conveyors.
• Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of rotating equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Follow safety standards, TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with production teams to achieve uninterrupted operations.

Experience

Education

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical qualification.
• ITI (Fitter/Electrician) with relevant foundry maintenance experience is also suitable.
