Job summary

ResponsibleUs is seeking a Junior EHS Officer (Safety Officer Civil & Interior) for our New Delhi operations to implement and maintain EHS systems, ensuring statutory and company safety compliance and a safe workplace.

The role requires 2–4 years of safety experience, knowledge of hazard recognition and risk assessment, incident investigation, and strong communication. BE/Diploma/B.Tech acceptable.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma/B.Tech or any relevant field is required.
• 2-4 years of experience, preferably in commercial/workspace interior fit-out.
• Knowledge of Hazard Recognition & Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation & RCA, Compliance & Regulatory Standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and safe operating practices.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate health checkups and medical surveillance programs.
• Monitor exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and ergonomic hazards.
• Conduct awareness programs on occupational health and wellness.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and pollution control norms.
• Monitor waste management, hazardous waste handling, and disposal activities.
• Conduct EHS induction and periodic safety training for employees and contractors.
• Organize mock drills, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.

PRIME FUNCTION

To ensure implementation and maintenance of Environment, Health & Safety systems in the organization by complying with statutory requirements, company safety standards, and safe work practices to achieve an accident‑free and environmentally sustainable workplace.

Job Description / Responsibilities
