Job summary

Srinsoft Technologies is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to develop precise 2D millwork drawings for manufacturing and construction projects. You will work closely with engineers and project leads to translate concepts into detailed AutoCAD illustrations.

The role emphasizes ensuring accuracy, adherence to industry standards, and maintaining organized project records while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Millwork/Woodworking experience is preferred.
• Should have excellent communication.
• Should have 1+ years of hands-on experience in the AutoCAD tool.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed 2D Millwork drawings using AutoCAD based on project requirements and specs.
• Generate plans, elevations, sections, and detail views of millwork for construction or manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineers/leads/project managers to understand design objectives and specs.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and incorporate design changes.

Job description

The AutoCAD Drafter produces detailed drawings (Woodworking/Millwork) for manufacturing/Construction purposes.

Working closely with engineers and leads.

The drafter translates concepts and ideas into precise and accurate technical illustrations.

Create accurate and detailed 2D Millwork drawings using AutoCAD software based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications.

Generate plans, elevations, sections, and detail views of Millworks for construction, manufacturing, or other project documentation.

Work closely with engineers, Leads, or project managers to understand design objectives and project specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project leads, engineers, or other stakeholders.

Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards of drawings and design documentation.

Perform quality checks to verify dimensions, materials, and other details.

Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and other relevant records.

Create and manage drawing libraries for standard details and components.
