Job summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Architect cum Project Coordinator to support the design, planning, documentation, and execution of real estate projects. The candidate will work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, site teams, vendors, and project management teams to ensure smooth coordination from design development through project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural & Design Responsibilities

Assist in developing architectural concepts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.

Prepare and modify 2D drawings and layouts based on project requirements.

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants.

Review drawings and identify discrepancies or design coordination issues.

Ensure drawings are updated as per site requirements and approved revisions.

Visit project sites regularly to monitor work against approved drawings and specifications.

Assist in resolving design-related issues encountered during construction.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, site engineers, vendors, and internal project teams.

Track project activities, drawings, approvals, material requirements, and deliverables.

Follow up with consultants and contractors for timely submission of drawings and documents.

Maintain project trackers, drawing registers, approval records, and documentation.

Assist in tracking project schedules and highlighting delays or coordination issues to senior management.

Ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available with the site team.

Assist in coordinating site inspections and resolving execution-related queries.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, specifications, and project correspondence.

Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports and MIS.

Maintain drawing and document control systems.

Assist in preparing BOQs, material schedules, area statements, and project-related documentation where required.

Coordinate with the accounts/procurement team for project-related documentation and vendor requirements.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting.

Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and basic building practices.

Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

Good documentation and reporting abilities.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
