Job summary

Rashmi Group (Ghar Ho To Aisa) in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region is seeking a Junior Architect to support concept development, prepare drawings, and document designs for residential projects. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on assisting senior architects with space planning, elevations, and interior layouts.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, review progress against drawings, and help ensure designs meet budget, quality, and regulatory requirements, while embracing new tools

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Architecture and Architectural Design.
• Ability to support integration of design with structural, MEP, and other inputs.
• Basic understanding of digital tools (CAD/BIM, design software).
• Exposure to Project Management principles and coordination with teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; work eligibility in India (licensure preferred).
• Proficiency in design and drafting software and familiarity with local codes.

Responsibilities

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Junior Architect will assist in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and creating detailed design documentation for residential projects. Responsibilities include supporting senior architects in space planning, elevations, and interior layouts, coordinating with engineering and project teams, and ensuring designs align with budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role involves participating in site visits, reviewing construction progress against drawings, and making necessary design adjustments. The Junior Architect will also collaborate on integrating new tools and methods into the design process and contribute to timely project delivery through effective communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Architecture and Architectural Design, including conceptualization, spatial planning, and preparation of working drawings.
• Ability to support Integration of design with structural, MEP, and other technical inputs to ensure coherent and buildable solutions.
• Basic understanding of Software Development or digital tools (e.g., CAD/BIM, design software) used to enhance architectural workflows.
• Exposure to Project Management principles, such as task tracking, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution and eligibility to work in India as an architect (licensure or registration preferred).
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced project environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to inclusive, respectful teamwork and client-focused design.
