Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and layouts for high-rise buildings.

• Prepare area statements, FSI/FAR calculations and compliance drawings.
• Submit drawings to authorities per NBC/DPCR and local regulations.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, landscape and interior consultants.
• Create 3D models and presentation drawings for reviews.
• Visit sites to verify drawings and resolve contractor queries.
• Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
• Assist senior architects with tender documents and BOQs.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Architect with 4-5 years of experience in high-rise or real estate projects to join our design team in Santacruz, Mumbai. You will work with senior architects and project managers on the design, documentation and coordination of residential and commercial towers, from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and detailed layouts for high-rise buildings
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections and typical and non-typical floor layouts
• Prepare and update area statements, FSI/FAR calculations and statutory compliance drawings
• Prepare drawings for submission to MCGM/BMC, SRA, fire department and other authorities, in line with DCPR 2034 and the NBC
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, faade, landscape and interior consultants
• Prepare detail drawings for staircases, lift cores, refuge areas, podiums, parking, faades, and toilets and kitchens
• Prepare 3D models and presentation drawings for client and internal reviews
• Visit sites to check that work matches the drawings, and resolve queries from contractors
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and project documentation
• Support senior architects with tender documents, BOQs and material specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution
• Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA), preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in high-rise, residential, commercial or real estate projects

Technical Skills

• Must have: AutoCAD, Revit (or similar BIM tools), SketchUp
• Good to have: Photoshop, Lumion/Enscape, MS Office
• Knowledge of Mumbai development control regulations, NBC and fire norms
• Understanding of high-rise design: core planning, structure coordination, faades, services and parking layouts

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy
• Good communication and coordination with consultants and site teams
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple project
