Role Description

The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept to execution in a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in conceptual design, preparing drawings and 3D models, contributing to design presentations, and coordinating with senior architects and project stakeholders. The role involves conducting site visits, documenting existing conditions, and helping translate design intent into detailed drawings and specifications. The Junior Architect will collaborate with the team on sustainable design strategies, material selection, and integration of local craftsmanship. The position also includes supporting basic project documentation, ensuring adherence to timelines, and contributing to a studio culture of thoughtful, context-driven design.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in architectural design, spatial planning, and conceptual thinking.
• Proficiency in architectural drafting and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Ability to create clear design presentations, diagrams, and visual narratives for internal and client review.
• Understanding of sustainable design principles, climate-responsive architecture, and material selection.
• Basic knowledge of construction detailing, building systems, and coordination with consultants.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
