Job summary

Axis Concept Construction Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior Architect with around 2 years of experience in residential and commercial projects. You will assist in developing concepts through construction, collaborating with senior architects and site teams to deliver design solutions.

The role involves creating architectural plans, elevations, sections and drawings, plus preparing working drawings and GFC drawings.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant professional experience in architectural projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects preferred.
• Exposure to site execution and consultant coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Prepare and update working drawings, construction drawings and GFC drawings.
• Develop design presentations, material palettes, mood boards and 3D views.
• Assist in the selection and specification of architectural and interior materials, finishes, fixtures and fittings.
• Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions and project records.
• Support senior architects in presentations, meetings and design discussions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, standards and project requirements.
• Track project deliverables and assist in meeting design and construction timelines.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect with around 2 years of experience in residential and commercial projects. The candidate will support the design and execution of projects from concept development through construction, working closely with senior architect and site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Prepare and update working drawings, construction drawings and GFC drawings.
• Develop design presentations, material palettes, mood boards and 3D views.
• Assist in the selection and specification of architectural and interior materials, finishes, fixtures and fittings.
• Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions and project records.
• Support senior architects in presentations, meetings and design discussions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, standards and project requirements.
• Track project deliverables and assist in meeting design and construction timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction detailing.
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Power Point, Canva or similar presentation software is preferred.
• Ability to prepare professional design presentations and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Qualification & Experience

• 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Exposure to site execution and consultant coordination will be an advantage.
