Role Description

The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept through execution in a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with conceptual design, preparing drawings and 3D models, developing presentations, and supporting the creation of detailed construction documents. The role involves coordinating with senior architects and designers, participating in client meetings, and incorporating feedback into evolving design solutions. The Junior Architect will help with material research, site measurements, and basic design documentation, while maintaining project files and contributing to quality control. Collaboration with consultants and contractors may be required to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on site.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
• Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design workflows, digital tools, and coordinated project documentation.
• Basic Project Management skills, including time management, task tracking, and supporting the coordination of deliverables.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar visualization tools) and Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification from an accredited institution.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow design guidelines, and readiness to learn from feedback in a studio environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate constructively with team members, clients, and external partners.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Ahmedabad or willingness to quickly become familiar with them.
