Job summary

Patwari Textile Company in Kolkata is seeking an Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting and data entry in tally, record purchases and sales, and maintain vouchers and bank entries.

You will support senior team members, prepare basic Excel reports, and ensure timely and accurate entries. Applicants should have strong numerical accuracy and be willing to learn in a busy accounts department.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts.
• Good working knowledge of Tally.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in day-to-day accounting entries and ledger maintenance.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Disciplined, responsible and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working as part of an existing Accounts team.
• Candidates with experience in a trading/distribution company preferred.

Responsibilities
