Job summary

Walking Tree in Mumbai is seeking an accounting professional responsible for execution of overall accounting entries using Tally Prime, ensuring accurate data entry for sales, purchases and expenses.

You'll handle reconciliations, process bank payments (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) and liaise with parties to close month-end activities, requiring composure and proactive follow-up, with a hands-on approach to compliance basics like TDS and GST.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime.
• Experience with bank payments processing.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Basic compliance knowledge (TDS, GST).
• Ability to work under pressure at period start.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of sales, purchases, expenses and other journal entries in Tally Prime.
• Bank reconciliation (Bank, Debtors, Creditors, Inter Co.).
• Process and manage bank payments (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).
• Follow up with counterparties.
