Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Junior Accountant in Chennai to manage Accounts Payable, data entry in AP systems like Tally, and vendor payments. The role includes handling TDS, EPF, GST compliance, and assist in monthly book closures.

The candidate should be a fresher from Chennai with knowledge of Tally and Excel, and willingness to work 100% from office. Collaboration with auditors and banks is expected.

Qualifications

• Freshers only eligible.
• Based out of Chennai.
• Familiar with AP processes and vendor invoices.
• Involvement in statutory compliances (TDS, EPF, GST)

Responsibilities

• Own and handle all AP vendor bills and supplier invoices.
• Review and approve employee claims.
• Issue, monitor and manage purchase orders.
• Manage exchange rate updates for invoicing systems.
• Assist and review accounts during monthly book closure.
• Assist in statutory compliances (including TDS, EPF, GST).
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and external stakeholders for documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports on open PO and AP.
