Job summary

MCV Motocorp in Rajahmundry seeks an Accountant to manage day-to-day books for vehicle sales, parts billing, and related charges. You will handle cash, bank deposits, and reconciliations while ensuring inventory alignment with DMS.

The role requires GST and TDS handling and participation in monthly and yearly closings. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years’ experience in automotive dealership accounting, familiarity with Tally Prime, advanced Excel, and DMS.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com with emphasis on accounting and taxation.
• Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance preferred.
• Hands-on with Tally Prime, advanced Excel, and DMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting for vehicle sales, parts billing, insurance, RTO, and related transactions.
• Handle showroom cash, petty cash, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory with DMS for vehicles and parts.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and statutory compliance.
• Account for labor charges, vehicle taxes, and dealership transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Maintain accurate books and financial records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Stores, and Finance teams for smooth operations.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records for vehicle sales, spare parts billing, insurance, RTO charges, and related transactions.
• Handle showroom cash collections, petty cash management, bank deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and reconcile vehicle and spare parts inventory with the Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Account for labor charges, vehicle taxes, spare parts taxation, and dealership-related transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Stores, and Finance teams for smooth accounting operations.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with 1-3 years of experience in accounting and financial operations, preferably from the Automobile Dealership industry.

• B.Com / M.Com /
• Male candidates preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
• If Good Accounting system knowledge freshers also considered
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, Inventory Reconciliation, and Statutory Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Advanced MS Excel, and Dealer Management Systems (DMS).

Good communication and coordination skills.

• Candidates based in Rajahmundry preferred.
