Job summary

Storysideup is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant in Delhi to handle daily accounting entries, GST compliance, and reconciliations. Freshers with strong fundamentals and software skills are welcome to apply.

You will work with Tally Prime, Busy Accounting Software, and MS Excel to maintain records, assist with month-end closing, and generate MIS reports, ensuring accuracy across all books.

Qualifications

• B.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience; freshers welcome.
• Proficiency with GST, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchase, payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers.
• Process and verify purchase invoices and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform GST-related activities, including GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase registers.
• Manage bank, ledger, vendor, and branch-wise reconciliations.
• Maintain books of accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare reports and assist with MIS and other accounting requirements.
• Use Tally Prime, Busy Accounting Software, and MS Excel for accounting and reporting.
