Job summary

SACO Consulting, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, is seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant for a 100% in-office role. The candidate will handle daily accounting, taxation, and compliance tasks and gain end-to-end exposure to CA office operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are an established Chartered Accountancy firm located in the heritage hub of Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in person and handle daily accounting, taxation, and compliance operations. If you are a commerce graduate eager to gain hands‑on, end‑to‑end exposure to CA office operations, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taxation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, Income Tax returns (ITR), and TDS returns.
• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain precise books of accounts for diverse clients using accounting software (Tally/Zoho).
• Audit Support: Assist the team in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Documentation: Organise, maintain, and manage client files, financial statements, and regulatory correspondence.
• Office Operations: Coordinate daily operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning of the office.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: B.Com graduate (Minimum requirement). Semi-qualified candidates or those who have completed IPCC/CA Intermediate groups are also welcome to apply.
• Skills: Strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and Income Tax provisions.
• Communication: Good English communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential for drafting emails and interacting with clients.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Tally Prime.

This is a 100% In-Person / Office-based role at our Basavanagudi office.
