As a Junior Unity 3D/Unreal Game Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of exciting gaming projects under the guidance of experienced developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and QA testers to bring game concepts to life and deliver engaging player experiences. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of 2D and/or 3D games using Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine
• Implement game mechanics, features, and functionalities based on design specifications and technical requirements
• Collaborate with artists to integrate assets such as models, textures, animations, and special effects into game environments
• Optimize game performance, including frame rate, memory usage, and load times, to ensure smooth gameplay experiences across various platforms
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to improve code quality, maintainability, and efficiency
• Stay current with emerging game development technologies, tools, and trends, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to technical discussions
• Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks, communicating progress and challenges to project stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of game development concepts and principles, with a passion for gaming and interactive entertainment
• Proficiency in Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine, with experience developing games for PC, console, or mobile platforms
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C++, or Blueprint scripting
• Knowledge of game design patterns, algorithms, and data structures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with game development tools and frameworks, such as Unity Asset Store plugins or Unreal Engine Marketplace assets.
