Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Pune invites fresh engineers to join as entry-level project engineers. You will support planning, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to execute projects safely and on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a BE/BTech in mechanical or electrical engineering, 0–3 years of experience, and familiarity with MS Project and AutoCAD; strong communication, coordination and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 0–3 years of experience in project engineering / execution roles.
• Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle preferred.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project) and design software (AutoCAD).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine project engineering assignments within the entry-level career band, applying foundational engineering knowledge and established procedures to support project execution while working under the guidance and direction of senior team members.
• Support project planning, scheduling and documentation
• Assist in project kick-off meetings and progress tracking
• Coordinate with internal departments for project execution
• Maintain project records, reports and document control
• Support procurement and vendor follow-up activities
• Monitor project milestones and escal delays
• Participate in customer meetings and site visits
• Support commissioning, trials and project handover
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in project engineering / execution roles
• Experience in handling end-to-end project lifecycle preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or relevant design software

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities
• Time management and multitasking capability

Optional (Good to Have)

• CAPM, PMP / Prince2 certification or equivalent
• Experience in ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
